In my work, I strive to foster an environment in which my patients and I are able to examine their unique histories and come to better understand their subjective experiences in the world. By encouraging open exploration of thoughts and feelings, I help patients cultivate a greater sense of agency, self-awareness, and emotional freedom in their daily lives.
ABOUT ME
I am a board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist and psychotherapist providing care for adults across the lifespan. I work with a broad range of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, and neurocognitive disorders. I welcome patients ages 18 and older from diverse backgrounds, identities, and life experiences.
My practice is located in the Flatiron/Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan, with a primary focus on individual psychodynamic psychotherapy and medication management when clinically indicated. In addition to seeing patients in private practice, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where I supervise and teach psychiatry residents.
